Terms of Service
By creating an account or entering a tournament on KitchenCash, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Eligibility
KitchenCash is open to players of all ages. By registering you confirm that all information you provide is accurate.
Tournament entry
- Entry fees are charged at the time of registration and are non-refundable within 72 hours of the event start time.
- KitchenCash reserves the right to remove any player from a tournament bracket for violation of conduct rules, misrepresentation of skill level, or other reasons at our discretion.
- Brackets and schedules are determined by KitchenCash organizers. Disputes regarding bracket seeding must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours before the event.
Prize payouts
- Prize money is paid out to winners following tournament conclusion. Payouts are not processed through Stripe — KitchenCash will contact winners directly to arrange payment. Payouts are typically issued within 24 hours of the tournament concluding.
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on prize earnings. KitchenCash will issue 1099 forms where required by law.
- Prize amounts are guaranteed only once a tournament's minimum player threshold is met. If a tournament is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, full refunds will be issued.
Conduct
All players are expected to compete with sportsmanship and respect for opponents, officials, and venues. KitchenCash may ban any player for abusive behavior, cheating, or conduct that damages the integrity of competition. No refund will be issued in cases of player removal due to misconduct.
KitchenCash Pro
- KitchenCash Pro is billed monthly or annually as selected at sign-up.
- You may cancel at any time. Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- KitchenCash reserves the right to modify Pro pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Limitation of liability
KitchenCash is not liable for injuries sustained during tournament play, acts of third-party venues, or losses arising from tournament cancellation due to circumstances outside our control (weather, venue closure, etc.). Participation in physical sporting events carries inherent risk that each player accepts upon registration.
Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum information required to run the platform. Here's what we collect and why:
- Account data — name, email, DUPR rating. Used to create your profile and match you to appropriate tournaments.
- Payment data — processed entirely by Stripe. KitchenCash never stores your card details.
- Tournament activity — your registration history, match results, and earnings. Used to power your dashboard and the winners page.
- Analytics — anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type) to improve the platform. No personal data is shared with analytics providers.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage).
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@kitchencash.com.
